Report by Andrea Lewingdon.
Earlier in November saw the first ever mummy's meet for the Club - hopefully
the first of many. It was a fab and rare opportunity for us busy mums
to take some time out to have a good old chat and some fun. Timing it
so that it coincided with the Fireworks and kid's meet meant that there
were lots of families at the Club and the kids could be otherwise entertained
by the teens and dads. The weekend started off with a tasty curry in Ystradgynlais
- well done Lel, cracking venue! A great chance to catch up on everyone's
news in peace (for a change!).
Saturday saw a bit of fun caving - something for everyone. Some pootling
(is that a word?) around in Top Entrance, exploring lots of nooks and
crannies in the bedding chamber, mini-columns and speedy caver. Also a
fab chance to explore the lesser known Maze series. We emerged only a
short time after the kids came back from their trip (more from them later…)
and in plenty of time to see the fireworks!
Let's do it again sometime ladies…!
